THERAPY AND EVALUATIONS
Our apraxia evaluations and therapy are provided by highly trained speech-language pathologists (SLPs) and occupational therapists (OTs) who are supervised by Mindy Vasilakopoulos, recognized by the Childhood Apraxia of Speech Association of North America (CASANA) for having Advanced Training and Expertise in Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS).
With two to five weekly sessions of speech-language and / or occupational therapy, we will customize our intensive program to meet your child’s needs.
An evaluation is required to be completed prior to starting the intensive therapy. You may provide an evaluation report from a licensed speech-language pathologist or occupational therapist which has been completed in the past six months. We will determine whether further evaluation is needed. With your input, we will create a formal treatment plan with short term goals to be reviewed within six months. Consistent attendance is imperative to achieve these goals.
We charge our regular therapy fees for the sessions. We are in-network with BCBS PPO. Other insurances may cover your services at their out-of-network percentage. We recommend you check with your insurance to determine your benefits.
